Agrasen ki Baoli:
Agrasen ki Baoli is an ancient stepped well in New Delhi, India, believed to have been constructed during medieval times by Maharaja Agrasen, a revered figure in the Agarwal community. It was mainly built to store water, especially crucial during dry spells.
While historical records don't confirm whether women used the baoli for bathing, it's likely they, along with men and children, utilized it for various tasks like washing clothes and fetching water. Besides its practical purpose, Agrasen ki Baoli served as a hub for community gatherings and socializing.
The baoli's architecture, featuring intricate steps leading to the water, showcases the engineering brilliance of its era. It holds immense historical and cultural significance, offering insights into ancient water management systems and community life.
